For years the Buick car range didn’t have a convertible. That is why the introduction of the Cascada is a big achievement for the manufacturer. The 2017 Buick Cascada has got luxury features and a lot of impressive improvements related to the mechanical parts in the vehicle. Generally, convertibles are more sporty than practical cars but that is not the case with the Buick Cascada. It has got some decent four seats with plenty of trunk space. Let’s take a closer look.

Except for some eye-catching design detailing on the grilles and lights, the 2017 Buick Cascada looks identical to the Opel-badged European model. Whether the soft rooftop is open or close, it is an elegant-styled convertible. The body’s styling makes it look appealing from every angle. Every design element is balanced and has sharp proportions. The elongated profile of the car makes it look elegant when still and beautifully powerful on the road. The large 20-inch wheels with 250/40 all-season tires give it a more athletic appearance. The soft top system is very easy to open and close. It lets the user face various weather conditions. The soft top only takes 17 seconds to open and 19 seconds to close at speeds up to 31 mph.

The interior of 2017 Buick Cascada is properly detailed but the styling could look somewhat old to some drivers. The roomy and spacious seating is impressive because usually four seater convertibles are compact and aren’t easily able to accommodate four passengers. But you don’t have to worry about space issues in this vehicle. The interior is designed in such a way that it is quieter while driving and the wind disturbance is very low even with an open rooftop. However, an open rooftop reduces trunk capacity from 13.4 cubic feet to 9.8 cubic feet.

The 2017 Buick Cascada is available in three trim levels. The trim levels include Base, Premium and Sport Touring. Standard features of the Base trim include power folding rooftop, automatic climate control, and leather upholstery. It also has rear parking sensors, adaptive xenon headlights, power adjustable heated front seats, and rear view camera. Furthermore, it has heated side mirrors and seven-speaker audio system with CD player and satellite radio.

The Premium trim adds automatic wipers, lane departure warning, air deflectors for front rear seats, and both front and rear parking sensors. It also has forward collision warning and fog lights. The Sport Touring trim adds unique paint color and alloy wheels along with distinctive black interior and unique flat bottom steering wheel.
