Maserati is all set to release the version of the company’s 2017 Maserati Quattroporte. Similar to the rest of the 2017 releases by other car manufacturers, the upcoming 2017 Maserati Quattroporte boasts a couple of unique upgrades and amazing tweaks. Let’s take a look!

Drivers familiar with the brand will instantly notice the reshaped, concave grille which has replaced the previous convex design in the 2017 Maserati Quattroporte. The whole car has been given a slightly richer look due to the extra chrome finished trim. The bumpers have also been reshaped for aerodynamic purposes. The reshaped bumpers along with the new automatic grille shutters help reduce aerodynamic drag by at least 10%. The exterior of the car helps give it a more spacious feel.

The interior has also gone through some changes compared to the previous versions of the car. While the central touchscreen is still 8.4 inches, similar to the 2017 model’s predecessor, it now uses a new version of ‘Maserati Touch Control Plus’ interface. A new central control knob, present behind the shifter, has also been newly incorporated. The climate-control buttons have been redesigned. Perfect driving position is ensured by the 12-way power adjustable leather front seats. In the rear, there is a asymmetrically folding leather bench seat for three, which has been hand stitched. There is also a central armrest which includes a 12V socket and a USB point. Overall, comfort is the main focus of the car’s interior design.

The Maserati Touch Control Plus now offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There is also an Advanced Driver Assistance package offered. The package includes lane-departure warning, active cruise-control, and forward collision warning along with automated emergency braking. A 360-degree surround-view camera system is also available. Furthermore, there is also a ZF automatic gearbox, an eight-speed transmission, which ensures precise gear changes. The 2017 Maserati Quattroporte assists the gearbox through auto-adaptive software that is able to recognize the manner in which one drives the car. The available five operating modes are: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Manual Normal, Manual Sport, and Increased Control & Efficiency. This thing s awesome!
