For those of you who might not be familiar with the Korean luxury brand, the 2018 Genesis G80 is something you should have on your radar as a car enthusiast. The latest offering from the company seems to be a step in the right direction when it comes to appealing to Sports car lovers. Let’s take a closer look.


Judging the exterior of the 2018 Genesis G80, you can define this automobile as one that’s charged with an appealing style that exudes a dynamic-feel from this mid-size luxury sedan. For someone people, it might be right there with the Cadillac CTS V-Sport and the BMW 540i in performance and design. This car features an aggressive front as well as rear fascias. The mesh grille is sure to catch the attention on any bystander. You’ll also notice rocker-panel extensions, tinted LED taillights, and split-spoke 19-inch wheels. The grille has copper-colored accents around it. The same accent can also be seen around the lower air intakes and the wheel-center hubs.


The interior of the 2018 Genesis G80 continues with the ‘sporty’ look of the exterior. There’s an analog clock mounted on the dashboard. You’ll notice copper accents on the clock as well as on the stitching of the gray or black leather steering wheels and comfortable seats. The pedal covers are aluminum. There’s also a black microsuede headliner. The dashboard is horizontally oriented. The 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system is centrally located and is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible. There’s a rotary knob on the console which can also be used to control the infotainment system. The rest of the dashboard has a couple of physical knobs for controlling the climate-control system as well as audio.


As a standard in the 2018 Genesis G80, you’ll get a head-up display, front and read parking sensors, along with a panoramic roof. There’s also heated and ventilated front seats, automated emergency braking, push-button start, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. The standard features also include the lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist. The G80 Sports trim can get this car floor mats and wheel locks.
