The 2015 Honda Fit is not only undergoing few changes. There are major changes on the platform, transmission, as well as new engine to cater the new needs of car buyers.

2015 Honda Fit is not going to be like the predecessor in so many ways. The car will get so many new features like new engine, new look, new transmission and new platform. It sounds like the new car is going to be really new after all and this time, the car manufacturer seem to care more on the aesthetic consideration.

At first glance, the 2015 Honda Fit redesign looks so much bigger than its predecessor. However, it is a trick of the eye. The car is not even the same size. In fact, the new car is 1.6 shorter but 0.3 inch wider than the old one. Both cars share the same height, though. Although the size does not differ much, the body has been altered so much to make them look different. The new car has a more dramatic altered body to glass ratio that makes it look much taller.

The car manufacturer also claims that the 2015 Honda Fit changes include a higher strength steel. This means that although he curb weight may be small, but the car is more rigid in many major areas. With these changes, not only that the car looks better than ever before, but they will bring the car to pass the IIHS and NHTSA crash tests.  If the car can pass these tests, it would certainly be a major success.

The 2015 Honda Fit has one thing in common to its predecessor; they both have the 1.5 liter engine. However, the new engine has a 1.5 packs variable timing control, direct injection, i-VTEC’s dual profile cams, as well as dual overhead cams. To cool the undersides of the pistons, there would be oil jets, while the counterweight has been greatly reduced to as much as 50% from eight to only four.
