2017 Audi Q7 SUV Review
Audi isn’t exiting the race of technologically advanced SUVs just yet. The new 2017 Audi Q7 seems to promise impressive performance and features package with this vehicle. The first ever Audi Q7 was released back in 2007 and is continuing the high standards of luxury, class and performance well into the present times. Let’s see if the long wait was worth it!
A slight decrease in the external dimensions and wheelbase has brought an advanced visual revolution to the SUV. It has a sleeker look with a very low drag coefficient of 0.32. The road appealing factor of Audi Q7 has also been increased. This is due to the new stylish design of the front grille, edges of the body’s frontal portion and the head and tail lights. The aluminum-alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches makes for a very powerful drive.
The 2017 Audi Q7 boasts an impressive interior. The interior cabin is elegant and luxurious. It is full of tech features which is conventional of Audi. The premium features include leather upholstery and carefully casted dashboard with Audi A-8 styling. Properly arranged controls, newly designed three-spoke steering wheel with flat bottom and easily operateable instruments makes the vehicle more driver friendly. The cabin volume has been expanded compared to the 2007 model. This leads to the inclusion of bigger and roomier seats for up to seven passengers. The cargo space has been increased from 10.9 to 14.8 cubic feet. While the 2017 Audi Q7 is the largest SUV by the company, the precise steering provides full control of the vehicle to the driver.
The 2017 Audi Q7 comes in three trim levels. These are Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The standard features include paddle shifters, heated and power adjustable driver seat. It also has a 7-inch color information display, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, 10-speaker sound system with USB ports and satellite radio. The Premium trim comes with xenon headlights, automatic wipers, LED DRLs and taillights. There are folding heated side mirrors, panoramic sunroof, parking sensors, frontal collision alert with pedestrian detection and automatic braking and power liftgate.
The Premium Plus trim adds a navigation system, keyless entry and ignition, power-adjustable steering wheel, auto-dimming side-view mirrors, interior ambient lighting. The Prestige trim adds blind spot information system, cross traffic alert, 8.3-inch screen and 19-speaker Bose surround-sound system. Optional packages are also available for all the trims. All of this goes to show that Audi didn’t hold back as far as offering exclusive features to its drivers. Good job Audi!
