2017 Kia Forte Review

Intro
The 2017 Kia Forte has brought some updates to the previous sedan model. The new design features make it look like a smaller version of Optima, a bigger sedan by Kia. The engine has also gotten bigger, and a new sports trim level has also been added. Let’s take a closer look at all of the new updates and see if the new Kia Forte really is a stunning car.

Exterior
The exterior of the 2017 Kia Forte is quite appealing. The curves give it a sensuous vibe, and yet it still retains a look that exudes a powerful performance. The grille has a ‘tiger nose’ design and it is located a bit lower than the previous model and seems to blend into the headlights. The redesigned taillights seem to be inspired by the ones seen in the Optima. The hood also sits a bit low on the sides as the headlights have gotten a bit thinner. The fog lights have been moved a bit inwards and are now next to the air dam. Small air vents have been added to each corner for a sportier look. The Forte also got a new front bumper for a more powerful feel.

Interior
The interior hasn’t changed much in the new model when compared to the 2016 version. The seats retain their original designs and are still comfortable to sit in. The front seats are also adjustable to meet the preference of the drivers. The dashboard has a seven-inch touchscreen and the Kia infotainment system. The interior also has quality leather, heating and cooling options, and a heated steering wheel. The cargo space is also commendable.

Features
The 2017 Kia Forte sedan is available in three trim levels: LX, S, and EX. The LX sedan comes with heated mirrors, a height-adjustable driver seat, 4-speaker sound system with Bluetooth, CD player, USB port, satellite radio and auxiliary audio jack as standard features. The optional features include automatic headlights, sliding front-armrest, rear-view camera, 4.3-inch touch screen, cruise control and six speakers. The S sedan adds LED DRLs, smartphone integration, unique black upholstery, adjustable driving modes and rear spoiler. Optional package adds foglights, LED taillights and safety features, sunroof, keyless entry and ignition and heated front seats.
