2018 BMW Alpina B5 Biturbo Review
Intro
Almost all premium car manufacturers tend to have a performance sub-brand it offers interested drivers. You have the Audi Sport, the Mercedes-AMG, and the BMW M. Even Lexus has offering under its F series. There’s nothing subtle about these cars and the BMW Alpina follows suit. A lot of driving enthusiasts consider the Alpina series as a trophy. Let’s see what the 2018 BMW Alpina B5 Biturbo has to offer even though USÂ buyers might experience difficulty trying to get one.
Exterior
You will surely notice the traditional striping in the 2018 BMW Alpina B5 Biturbo, a homage to the brand. The spoiler has been designed to increase aerodynamics. The front fascia of the car has the classic Alpina lower bumper. The front intake, located below the grille, is wide yet thin. You’ll also notice that the multi-spoke rims are massive. The hood and headlights aren’t drastically changed from BMW’s regular 5 series.  The overall look is that of a powerful and elegant car.
Interior
Similar to the exterior of the 2018 BMW Alpina B5 Biturbo, the interior doesn’t disappoint. Both the exterior and interior features help the car be, both, a vehicle that is powerful at full throttle while also remaining elegant to look at. Inside, you’ll notice special leather and wood offerings. The company’s Alpina logo is also (tastefully)Â integrated into numerous locations in the cabin.
While the layout is somewhat identical to what you see in the regular 5 Series, the materials are upgraded. There’s a very high-grade wood trim, piano black panels, and leather upholstery. The cabin is spacious enough, offering head and leg room for all passengers for a comfortable journey. The dashboard is easy to navigate with all the controls. Furthermore, the steering is comfortable to hold.
Features
The 2018 BMW Alpina B5 Biturbo boasts some standard features for a better driving experience. A plus-sized standard infotainment system offers compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also Bluetooth connectivity and USB ports. You’ll also get keyless entry, rear parking sensors, auto-dimming, climate control, and powered front seats.
