2019 Acura TLX front review

Intro

The 2019 Acura TLX is a new performance luxury sedan offered to enthusiastic drivers in the market. However, one has to note that although the 2019 Acura TLX is considered to be an efficient and practical vehicle, it falls short of its rivals. For certain drivers, it lacks the agility, force and classy interior offered by its rivals. However, some still love it.

The TLX production line was geared up by the manufacturers in 2015. Although initial models showed relevant upgrades, there have been no significant changes between models from 2017 to 2019.

The latest Acura TLX 2019 model only shows one significant change in its specifications, and that is a four-cylinder engine which has been introduced under its hood an can be paired with the A-Spec package converting it into a V-6 A-Spec. Some exclusive exterior and interior styling features have also been added.

Let us dive deeper into the new features and upgrades accompanying this model.

Exterior

The latest 2019 Acura TLX has got its exterior boosted with fancy lights and a five-sided diamond mesh grille, giving it a distinctive sporty look. Round LED fog lights adorn its front for clear penetrating vision. You will also notice a dark chrome trim finish accompanied by an exposed dual exhaust outlet along with gloss black decklid spoiler. All these features deliver a bold message with a modern sporty look.

Furthermore, the exterior enhancements include unique 19-inch wheels and a stylized front bumper. Platinum White Pearl from the previous model replaces the Bellanova White Pearl this year, too. Also, the Black Copper Pearl has been discontinued.

Interior

The Acura line is designed for comfort and luxury. Milano leather seats guarantee durability, beauty, and comfort, giving its interior a bold modern perspective. There is ample space provided for the front seat passenger, enabling even a someone who is six feet tall to enter or exit from the car easily. Similarly, the backseat passenger space is quite adequate for any tall passenger to sit comfortably.

The overall appearance of the cabin is relatively unchanged from its 2018 model. Its dash clusters in the dashboard are in red accents with LED ambient lighting. The steering wheel is thick-rimmed with a sporty looking stainless-steel footrest. The Cabin oozes quality with its soft-touch plastics and aluminum-look trim. Cupholders are placed strategically for convenience.

Although the noise from sharp winds and speeding can’t be totally eliminated, the Acura 2019, has done a commendable job in insulating these noises to reach minimum levels.

Features

The new 2019 Acura TLX boasts an efficient 3.5L i-VTEC V-6 engine with a 9-speed automatic gear shifting. It can also propel the car from 0 to 60 mph in a respectable 5.7 seconds. Super sensors on wheels make driving a breeze as control is easily (and quickly) shifted.

The AcuraWatch Suite provides driver safety by creating street smart awareness. Its blind spot information system detects vehicles in adjacent lanes which would otherwise be hidden behind these blind spots. A hub of digital resources provided through Apple CarPlay is available. Listening to music, sending emails, getting directions or interacting with Siri has been made easy.
