Next Minor Updates: 2016 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet
VW has announced the updated Golf Cabriolet for 2016 refresh based on the sixth-generation 2009 Volkswagen Golf with subtle styling changes to exterior and interior along with an assortment of new colors. Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet 2016 have brand-new engines which now all gain Euro 6 emissions certification, also offer more power.
For interior updates, new seat designs are trimmed in new cloth and leather upholstery styles will also be part of the cabin, as well as VW’s latest generation of steering wheels, new audio system and fresh trim elements.
The 2016 Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet will retain its six engine choices: four petrol (TSI) and two diesel engines (TDI) options. Power outputs will remain similar to the unit found in the Golf GTI , beginning with the 1.2-liter TSI that produces 104 horsepower, all the way up to the 2.0-liter TSI that pumps out 217 horsepower for the GTI trim.
Prices haven’t yet been confirmed, Volkswagen has made no announcements on that end, but the outgoing model expect it to have a price starts from £22,540 and rises to £32,470. That would be around $35,000 to $55,000 based on current exchange rates.
